i’ve had a few relaxing days off & it’s always nice to explore la again. sometimes when you live in a city, (even if it’s abundant with it’s offerings) life can get very consuming. being in a driving city, you often forget to just walk & “get lost in it”. it truly is a priviledge to eat & live here…xo

during the hot summer months, i like fresh & light meals. so, after hearing such good things from customers & friends i decided to give cafe gratitude a try. known for great vegetarian fare & a chill atmosphere, i was impressed with the quality & yummy portions of everything we ate! ps the sangria was divine…it is a must!

i finally had a chance to visit coffeebar la, this weekend in downtown la. it was on my top 5 things to do this month & this beautiful place didn’t disappoint. vast & airy, it’s the perfect place for an invigorating cup of artisanal coffee. not only do they serve top notch blends & delicious treats, it has a great patio area essential for people watching & surfing the web. i’m beyond happy, this place is in my neck of the woods.

the new cooking channel has sucked me in with nadia g’s bitchin kitchen. at first i was confused, but now i can’t help but be charmed by her italian advances. plus she’s created her own online & now primetime empire. girls who love to cook rock!
