i love visiting cb2 for affordable & modern design. (i could spend hours in there) they always have unique pieces that can truly liven up a space. maybe because my apartment walls are gray, i’m always drawn to this palate for bright accents. these items are definitely on my radar…

i am a lover of anything quirky & whimsy, so are kitty cat faces & whiskers on shoes sexy? yes! charlotte’s collection of tempting felines, include stunning leopard prints to vampy platforms. i admire her ability to always include facets of retro & pinup culture in her inventive designs.

I am a lover of fancy packaging. I love when something that I use everyday looks pretty. It’s sort of shallow, but if it looks special then in a weird sort of way, I feel special. Life is hard enough as it is, and if something simple makes you smile then why not? Right? So, stumbling upon Help was such a fun find! Its a smart & edited company that takes ordinary first aid items and makes them easier to use and carry around. Way better than carrying like 100 things in your purse & if your like me, I tend to have a lot of mishaps at work. Sleek & discreet, the packaging is made from molded paper pulp & it’s bio-degradable! I love this! Wish I had thought of this!

Via her blog website, Jane Aldridge announced her super secret Urban Outfitter’s collaboration. She’s been hinting at it for months & I’m finally glad to see solid shot’s for the designs. You can definetly see where her inspiration came from & effectively channels Ann Demeulemeester. It’s really inspiring to see a blogger be shot into mainstream status in a positive way. Congrats Jane!

Samantha Pynn from Pure Design
As much as I love fashion I also love interior design. Along with my fashion magazines there is always a stack of design mags peeking from underneath. There’s nothing like watching HGTV & scanning pictures for inspiration & neat quick fix tips to trick out my “shabby” little apartment. For being my first place, its really not that bad. (except for the crappy motel & its interesting & god-awful guests) It has beautiful coved celings and a small galley style layout perfect for 2 people. I just started catching the show Pure Design on HGTV, hosted by Samantha Pynn. Her show is fresh & has a keen eye on a simple modern esthetic (working on Canada’s Style at Home Magazine helps!), but what I really enjoy is her many wardrobe changes throughout the show… Samantha’s cute tops, flirty dresses & design are just another reason to love her show. Here some of my favorite looks both interior & her own.
