say what you will about reality tv star, lauren conrad, (people always harp on reality tv personalities) but for me her style is always on point. she has a keen ability to always have that perfect mix of california ease, with a touch of elegance, & thats what inspires me about her looks. paper crown is her first design endeavor (plus she also started the fun blog, the beauty department) & judging from these lookbook shots she’s got her first fashion gig down!

there are many things that make me happy, but i literally get giddy when looking at handbags or clutches. it’s been an obsession since i can remember & perhaps i can blame my mother for her fashion influence. at times, i think that i should photograph all of them, so i can tell myself that i don’t need another! this recent purchase was an impulse, at the super cool bookmarc store (while shopping for christmas gifts), but it has literally made me re-think about the silly things that used to be in my huge purse. it’s become my go-to for every occasion. i think my shoulders are thanking me…

i love uk magazines, especially when they are this beautiful. when i saw this new launch issue for hunger, i had to spend a pretty penny just to have it. (some of my favorite elle uk’s have been shot by rankin) i’ve never been so impressed by every single part of the magazine, even the back. one added bonus: the magazine literally comes alive on their website. it’s pages & pages of glamour, heart, & soul in photographs, all shot by rankin of course…
