Sipp Curated Goods…

My love for coffee culture hasn’t wavered & I been quietly working on a pet project, Sipp Curated Goods. A place where I could selfishly curate my favorite coffee related gifts, goodies, & art.

In the last few years, coffee culture has grown into a full force of talented people & community driven by the same love of one drink. Its crazy.

I never thought about how much that ritual gets my day going. My day doesn’t start without it. Then one day it hit me, “I really love this hobby”. My day job consists of making things beautiful & searching for cool, beautiful pieces. So this was just a natural progression. A small place of my own where I could be creative & share the humor & creativity that this small drink brings out in folks. Here we go, ready or not…

paramount coffee project la…

on a quite wednesday, i ventured over to the fairfax district towards the newly opened paramount coffee project la. a much awaited arrival to this aussie colab between mark dundon, russell beard, & ping jin ng. Aside from the exceptional drinks, the design will impress you every step of the way. the space is long yet inviting & you feel the warmth amidst the concrete details & hanging vines. i was immediately welcomed by a caring staff that poured a signature creamy flat white, but pair this with the ruby tea (hints of gin-like juniper!). i will certainly add this place to my go-to coffee list –  m.

revolutionario north african tacos

angelenos are very particular about their tacos. most have about 2-3 taco spots they frequent for different flavors, condiments, or late night bites. so when chef farid zadi opened his new restaurant revolutionario north african tacos near home (hey south la!), i had to try them. they were honestly some the best tacos, i’ve ever tried. the spice combo was unlike anything i’d had before, yet they had the familiar feeling of some of my favorite tacos. he even has a unique pickled goods bar where you can layer even more flavor atop the deliciously tender meats or grilled veggies. i’m sure to become a regular fan of these…

lamill coffee in silverlake…

i was recently invited to lamill coffee in silverlake,  to taste some of their new brunch fair & it was so delicious! i had a great time with friends & ended up staying for hours. I had forgotten how lovely the space was & can be for an intimate lunch or a late night snack.
