say what you will about reality tv star, lauren conrad, (people always harp on reality tv personalities) but for me her style is always on point. she has a keen ability to always have that perfect mix of california ease, with a touch of elegance, & thats what inspires me about her looks. paper crown is her first design endeavor (plus she also started the fun blog, the beauty department) & judging from these lookbook shots she’s got her first fashion gig down!

i will never stop being a paper nerd. ever since i can remember, shopping for school supplies before a new school year was major event. lisa frank, trapper keeper, you name it, i had it all. so now as a grown-up, i still look for fun things to write on & take some pleasure knowing that even with all this technology nothing beats an old-fashioned hand written note. these pads from 0-check have become my new obsession for their simplicity & sheer cleverness (they all have the funniest little quotes with a touch of quirk) i can’t wait to start scribbling away…
