driving through culver city’s arts district is a weekly occurrence since i love visiting cognoscenti coffee (delicious cortados!), but this time after noticing their eye-catching storefront, i finally stepped into gramercy york. an airy space filled with carefully curated finds of indie & well known designers, like clare vivier, malin & goetz, wolverine, it is a welcoming change to this ever booming street. the inviting centerpiece table houses gifts, housewares & an enviable selection of leather goods to make any accessories junkie swoon. i had to snag this pair of intoxicating candles from long beach’s pomme frites candle co. & couldn’t stop sniffing them on the ride home. keep this boutique on your radar westside…

let’s be frank truck…

i don’t know why but summer get’s me in the mood for yummy hot dogs. sometimes endless toppings will do, although there’s nothing better than a straight up “meaty” dog. so whenever i’m riding down washington blvd in culver city, i have to make a pit stop at let’s be frank, get my fix (grass-fed all beef, local, yup it’s all good)  & wash it all down with an iced cold cheerwine. i simply can’t resist their tricked-out portable trailer & friendly service!

at helms…

it’s been far too long since i’ve blogged! I suppose sometimes life literally gets in the way, but i’m excited to start running around la & snapping shots! one thing i love about instagram is how easily you can share a moment even if you can’t sit down for a post. (love the ease!) moving on, i recently found myself inheriting more apt space since some living changes occurred (bff moved out, but it’s all good!). its exciting, but also daunting. what do i do with all this other space? wanting ideas & inspiration, i headed to culver city to visit the helms bakery district, for h.d. buttercup & room & board. i love that soo many elements live under one roof & that i always find new ways to re-visit my space!
