perhaps because this was the year of my birth, 1983 from the softlightes (formally the incredible moses leroy), is my song of the moment. it’s insanely addicting & the perfect song to play amidst the los angeles clouds. (umm, rain in july!) i’ve been ridiculously nostalgic for the 80’s & 90’s, exploring the old things i used to love & hate…i miss my old doc martens, but i don’t my floral skorts…yikes…

after browsing sam edelman’s website, i have savagely fallen in love with these animal prints. paired with a cute sundress or sassy short shorts, who could resist these “creatures”?
speaking of animals, check out this little toy chest that was left behind. one of my mom’s apartment tenants left this sweet little treasure behind, which of course i gave a new home…
