I was flipping through UK Elle magazine, & found a piece on Rankin who shot the cover with crazy, Lindsay Lohan, but truthfully what caught my eye were the shots he took of Selma Blair. Pint-sized, pixie hair & effortless (especially when she was on zoe, duncan, jack & jane). I miss seeing her around, well her style that is…that last show she was on…sheesh!

Monica is…dreaming of a homelife with central air.
So, through these miserable hot days in LA, I have been dying in my apartment. It’s a quaint place, but it has no air-conditioning! Aside from checking out fashion blogs, magazines, & sipping iced coffee, I grew misty eyed thinking about the demise of Domino Magazine. I loved flipping through the many spreads & wondered how I was going to replace this monthly joy? Months later, I found the perfect (yet pricey) alternative, Living etc! Too bad it’s a British publication. Here are just a few of my favorite shots. I dream of the day when owning a home will be possible & having a walk-in closet is a must! F-you stuffy apartment!

It’s been a huge drag in Los Angeles due to the fires ( it’s in the 90’s!). It’s hard to get dressed & not feel like a sweat bucket, but in the meantime I will continue to count the days when I can wear boots & sweaters again. Dreaming….
Monica is…comparing notes.
So yesterday, my good friend & I were talking about how cool we think Kat Dennnings is. She’s irresistibly charming & her witty blog shows her endearing, quirky side that sends us into a girlcrush, tailspin! Here are some of my favorite shots of her, while watching the Los Angeles skyline turn coffee black from the fires…no more heat wave!
Monica is…shoe obsessed #2+handbag obsessed #3!
I love checking out Anthropologie’s website often because they always sneak new stuff on. Every time I’m in that store I slowly enter a state of euphoria. It’s the way it smells, the merchandising, the clothes, everything is so girlie. I love Urban, but I suppose, I find myself relating more to its “big sister” store. Can’t get enough! Here are some findings currently available….

and my absolute favorite…these flats
