Monica is…in lunch break heaven.

Sometimes amidst these tired wells at work, there is light at the end of tunnel…with a sandwich of course! When the day seems to drag on, the thought of having this delicious, simply crafted sandwich drives me wild. The lines are always long for Larchmont Village Wine Spirits & Cheese & sometimes they run out of meat or bread before 2pm, but for good reason. Freshly shaved turkey, fine cheeses, & savory balsamic vinegar make this lunch irresistible. How can they make this sandwich taste so good for so little? If you’ve not stumbled upon this little gem, arrive early before you’re the last person told “no more sandwiches”. Larchmont Village Wine Spirits & Cheese Neighborhood: Mid Wilshire
223 N Larchmont Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90004

Monica is…having flashbacks about this sandwich.

blog-040

I keep having subtle moments of happiness because of this sandwich from Molinari Delicatessen in San Francisco. It was recommended by my boyfriend’s friend & it was totally worth the trek through Chinatown to get to it. They have many amazing looking sandwiches, but we settled on this one, soooo goood! We had a panini filled with buttery prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, sweet sun dried tomatoes, fresh pesto, baby greens & killer focaccia. Delicious Italian essence! I wish that I could somehow have this sandwich delivered. How can something so simple be so good? I don’t know but i’m not gonna question this too much…It reminds me in a good way of my little Larchmont Village Wine Spirits & Cheese, back home. I swear after we savored this amazing sandwich, my boyfriend & I had a 10 minute conversation about how we could possibly smuggle this sandwich on the plane back without getting caught. Needless to say we really left our hearts in San Francisco.
