after browsing sam edelman’s website, i have savagely fallen in love with these animal prints. paired with a cute sundress or sassy short shorts, who could resist these “creatures”?

speaking of animals, check out this little toy chest that was left behind. one of my mom’s apartment tenants left this sweet little treasure behind, which of course i gave a new home…

Monica is…happy to “sea” Jane Aldridge’s new project.

Via her blog website, Jane Aldridge announced her super secret Urban Outfitter’s collaboration. She’s been hinting at it for months & I’m finally glad to see solid shot’s for the designs. You can definetly see where her inspiration came from & effectively channels Ann Demeulemeester. It’s really inspiring to see a blogger be shot into mainstream status in a positive way. Congrats Jane!

Monica is…a sucker for hearts.

the perfect grampa sweater

the perfect grampa sweater

As a dedicated “follower of fashion”, I love combing through magazines & pretending to even think about purchases things that are worth more than my car, my apt & the things inside of it, plus me. When did shoes, bags, & clothes get so expensive? Ehh..anyways upon my window-web-shopping, my heart fluttered a bit at the thought of wearing these Red Heart Converse from Play by Comme des Garςon. They have hearts with googly eyes! They are not available just yet but I’m sure these sweet kicks will become highly collectable! By the way Joan Shepp’s website has an amazing aray of ecletic designerswish there was a store here in LA.

I really hope this closet is insured

She is only 16 years old & already being followed by Kanye West. Although now that I think about it it’s kinda creepy that he’s even looking at her blog website. I’m talking about Jane Aldridge, a Trophy Club, TX  socialite & owner of an impressive shoe collection that could rival some of the best out there. Her site Sea of Shoes is a great photographic archive of her coming into her own woman except she just happens to have lots of money to covet some of the most prized shoes. She writes about shoes that she’s in lust over & then eventually gets them. Where as if I lust for them, it ends there. Just lust. I will live vicariously through her rich parents poketbooks and pretend that I am her walking through the streets of Dallas in her incredible heels. Sigh*

FML...these shoes are just lovely & are worth more than my life.
