Monica is…dying without her computer.

I’m not even filled with enough shame to say that I miss my laptop terribly. I miss blogging. I am using my boyfriend’s computer, but it is not the same. I guess I’m a creature of comforts & wish somehow magically the laptop, which is surely infected with a virus, would just wake up. If I had to choose between television & internet I would choose internet, hands down. Forgive the lack of posts. I will be back soon. XOXO

The computer died…crap.

So,  sadly i’ve been MIA because my horrible laptop finally decided to stop working. I may have to briefly conclude posts till I can afford to get a new computer preferably a mac…wishfull thinking, but it will happen!!! In the meantime please keep following my twitter & requests to follow me (spam twitters are so annoying!) Xoxo…

Monica is…holiday web-browsing.

The fact that turkey day is this Thursday & that Christmas is in a few weeks scares me. I felt that last year was the poorest x-mas ever, but maybe this one may take the cake. Yeech. The general consensus amongst most people will agree. Wandering around malls can be totally overwhelming & truthfully I’m not sure how i’m going to pull “holiday” out of a magic hat this year. Amidst ugly sweaters, reindeer socks & the dreaded $10 and under giftcard (on a side note…why people do this boggles the mind unless its coffee don’t bother) there lies Fred & Friends! Whenever it arrives at work, I can’t help but smile at the sheer amount of imagination! It’s always priced right & these new products are here just in time for holidays! My fave the measuring cups….

Monica is…grey, gray, eh whatever!

Most girls at one time or another have had a childhood obsession with Hello Kitty & her cute little friends! Now that I’m older, I still get excited about the perpetually cuteness! I love how “grown up” this suede carry-all bag & wallet are. It surely has the Chanel influence, but I think that’s what makes it so sleek & perfect for someone who loves pop art.

I would like a…new camera.

I seriously miss taking pictures. When I actually had a respectable camera (back in the days when we had film), I used to take so many photos that I would spend most of money purchasing & developing film. Now that digital has taken over, I’m longing for a nifty camera that can roll with me through my adventures (mostly food). I found some that are on my wish list…love the “vintage” look shutter bugs. Umm maybe I have a thing for Leica’s?
