Monica is…going where the wild things are.

October? Such a long wait...

October? Such a long wait...

When I went to the movies the other day, they showed a Where The Wild Things Are trailer & I was instantly transported back in time. I loved that book soo much as a kid & I’m so glad that somebody has decided to tackle this imaginative story. Spike Jonze don’t fail me now…In the meantime, indulge in this endearing blog———> Terrible Yellow Eyes.

Monics is…ashamed she likes watching Charm School.

charm school

I think there is something wrong with me. Just when I think i’m better than most “simple” folk, I go and watch shit like Charm School. I love it more because Ricki Lake is hosting & I grew misty-eyed thinking about her amazing talkshow. After school I would watch the “real” reality shows; Jenny Jones, Richard Bey, BC Maury Povich & countless other crappy talk shows, then discuss them the next day in class. I guess, its in my nature to love watching ghetto ass women scream & belittle each other with grade school taunts. I can’t help to root for certain girls & hate others for being soo damn hatable. Why do I watch stuff like this? The Hills? and any other VH1 show? Sometimes I wish I was my younger self, only to timetravel back & watch decent TV. Geez, I am soo ashamed…

Monica is…amazed Barnum cookies still exist.

animal-crackers

I had this as a quick snack earlier & was deliciously satisfied. I saw these at the market the other day & forgot about them since grade school. They still come in a nifty box with rope so that you may look completly riduculous carrying them around other grownups at your local Starbucks. I admit I was a little embarrassed at first to unleash the box, but felt better after receiving 5 or 6 comments about how much they forgot about them too & wanted to buy some. Rite-aid next door may have sold out that day.
