I’m not a huge valentine’s day fan (why should love be celebrated only one day?), but I do love all the insanely cute stuff that is made! I can’t help, but be charmed by all these sweet heart patterns & candy colored things… Yummy enough to eat! Well, if these were edible of course!

Most girls at one time or another have had a childhood obsession with Hello Kitty & her cute little friends! Now that I’m older, I still get excited about the perpetually cuteness! I love how “grown up” this suede carry-all bag & wallet are. It surely has the Chanel influence, but I think that’s what makes it so sleek & perfect for someone who loves pop art.
The other day, I stopped at Metropark (it had turned into the mecca for douchebag ed hardy clothing, ugg) & was shocked to find that there a few amazing pieces & priced well under budget! I loved this jacket in particular (a steal at under 200 bucks!)…& found some notable selections that would look great with it….covet! covet! covet!
So, after Tasha Nita Adams from Mondette, formerly Blackburn & Sweetzer (incredible L.A. blog!), posted this gorgeous navy messenger bag from Clare Vivier, I fell in love with the simple, clean lines of this buttery looking bag. Such a perfect size for everyday & the best part is that you can wear it two ways! I seriously have been on this “messenger bag” kick ever since I purchased a mid-size black, Marc by Marc Jacobs & a Coach style, a few months back. Clare’s messenger bag comes in four great colors (black, aubergine, gray & brown) perfect to match fall outfits! I think I’m love…cause I can’t stop thinking about it…gotta save my rainy day money for this…

I saw this recent picture of Linda Evangelista, at one of the 2009 Fashion Week parties & loved her entire look. When I was younger, she was my favorite supermodel from the 90’s “fashion royalty”. I still remember having her W Magazine cover taped near my bedside, youthful & beautiful. These current pieces remind me of her editorials from the past…
